What are appliance symbols?
Appliance symbols are the icons and labels on your washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. On washers and dryers, they often correspond to the same international care symbols you see on clothing labels—so you can choose the right cycle and temperature for each load. Dishwasher symbols apply mainly to tableware and cookware (e.g. dishwasher-safe), not to laundry.
